From 2010-2019, she was Professor of Economics at the University of Texas, Austin, and held the Audre and Bernard Rapoport Chair in Economics and Public Affairs. Black served on the President\u2019s Council of Economic Advisors from 2015 to 2017. Her research focuses on labor and education economics.
