Please join us for a Zoom seminar on Wednesday, 4/22 by Visiting Scholar Alexander Hertel-Fernandez, “Schooled by Strikes: The Political Logic of Mass Teacher Strikes.”

Hertel-Fernandez received a BA in Political Science from Northwestern University and a PhD in Government and Social Policy from Harvard University. He is an Associate Professor of Public and International Affairs at Columbia University.

Hertel-Fernandez is the author of Politics at Work: How Companies Turn Their Workers Into Lobbyists (Oxford, 2018) and State Capture (Oxford, 2019).
