Good morning everyone,
On Tuesday, October 20, the CUNY Graduate Center is hosting an event that may be of interest to you—a seminar to celebrate the publication of Strangers no More: Immigration and the Challenges of Integration in North America and Western Europe, by Nancy Foner, Professor of Sociology at Hunter College, and Richard Alba, Professor of Sociology at the CUNY Graduate Center.
Other commentators will include John Mollenkopf, Distinguished Professor of Political Science and Sociology at the CUNY Graduate Center, Martin Schain, Professor of Politics at NYU, and Patrick Simon, Director of Research, INED (French National Institute for Demographic Studies) and Distinguished Visiting Fellow, Advanced Research Collaborative, CUNY Graduate Center.
If you would like to attend, the seminar will be located at Room 6112, the Sociology Lounge at the CUNY Graduate Center, 365 Fifth Avenue (at 34th Street). The event will last from 5 to 7 PM, with a reception afterward.
